Hakone Gardens
Last weekend Stacey and I checked out Hakone Gardens, "the oldest Asian estate and garden in the Western Hemisphere," according to their website. We'd driven by it a number of times after passing through Saratoga on our way to other hiking spots. It was a small but peaceful garden, with a koi pond and lots of little trails to follow into the woods.
